Expansion of 2 Units on a Triplex
This project involved the significant expansion of two residential units within an existing triplex. The goal was to optimize the living space while respecting the original architecture and ensuring a durable structure.REOVA handled the entire project management process as well as all carpentry work, ensuring smooth execution from excavation to exterior finishing. The BOSA project required a complete and coordinated intervention, beginning with excavation and site preparation for the new foundation base.
The REOVA team then proceeded with the wood framing installation, incorporating robust joist systems and high-performance insulation to ensure the energy efficiency of the expansion. The mandate continued with finish carpentry work, including the expert installation of doors and windows as well as the construction of safe exterior staircases.
Completed over a 16-week period, from March 27 to July 18, this 560 000 $ project demonstrates our ability to successfully carry out complex transformations while minimizing the impact on the triplex’s surrounding environment.
